For the full fiscal year, Walmart associates across the US earned more than $550 million in bonuses, including over $20.4 million in Virginia.
In addition, over 79,000 Walmart workers across the state will also receive a pay raise.

According to Walmart officials, as of February 2016, the full-time hourly wage is averaging $15.38, while part-time associates average $11.68.
All workers hired before January 1 will be paid at least $10 an hour, the company said in a prepared statement.
Entry-level workers, however, will still receive $9 an hour until completing an in-house training program. Employees that earn more than $10 an hour will see their annual pay increase starting this month rather than waiting until their anniversary date.
