John Kasich Predicts Better Primary Performances ‘in the North’

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the movie star and former California governor, endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich today for the Republican nomination for president, saying his experience in government made him “an action hero”. Some political strategists think of the ephemeral messaging platform as the next digital frontier, and a way to reach 18- to 34-year-olds.

John Kasich on Tuesday predicted that the Republican presidential race would be headed to a contested convention over the summer to determine the party’s nominee.

29 to March 6, found 39 percent of GOP primary voters across the country support Donald Trump, a 19-percentage-point lead ahead of Ted Cruz who received 20 percent support. Mr. Rubio continues to trail Mr. Trump in Florida, which like OH votes on March 15, and a loss in the winner-take-all Sunshine State could effectively doom the Florida senator. Both men badly trail Donald Trump, the real estate tycoon and Republican front-runner, but each believe they can ultimately dethrone him in the months to come. California, where Schwarzenegger served as governor from 2003 to 2011, is an incredibly important state in the primary season.

With or without the support of the Kindergarten Cop, Kasich has always been determined to win his own state – and would be in quite a hole without it.

Bob Goble, of Saline, Mich., who works at General Motor’s Toledo Transmission plant, asked Gov. Kasich about placing signs on state highways with the veteran crisis assistance number.

Yet to win a state and far behind in the delegate count, John Kasich turns to OH hoping high approval ratings and a robust get-out-the-vote operation will deliver him a victory in his home state next Tuesday.

Hillary Clinton campaigns in Cleveland, while Bernie Sanders spends time in MI and Florida.

“We’re now moving into position where the people of America are beginning to hear this message”, Mr. Kasich said.

He vowed not to “get down in the gutter” of the campaign, talking instead about a balanced federal budget, lower taxes, “common-sense regulation”, and job creation, a menu that he said has worked in OH and will work nationally.
