Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump take strong leads in MI poll
The business mogul picked up two more victories Tuesday night, securing big wins in MS and MI amid growing attacks from GOP leaders to keep him from becoming the Republican presidential nominee.

Trump’s gender gap isn’t new, but it seems to be growing as his campaign has targeted women, Hispanics, immigrants, Muslims and other demographics.
Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, another White House hopeful, has missed 36 percent of the votes taken in the past year.
Clinton holds a sizable delegate lead, with 1,221 compared with Sanders’ 571.
Republicans also vote in Mississippi, Idaho and Hawaii on Tuesday. Rubio’s home state?” said Kellyanne Conway, the Republican strategist who heads Keep the Promise I, which created the ads.
Many mainstream Republicans are reluctant, however, to rally behind Cruz, whom they see as too conservative for the general electorate in the November 8 election to succeed Democratic President Barack Obama.
Some GOP insiders, however, say that Cruz can’t top Trump on his own – a comment that Cruz has been touting on the stump as he tries to get Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich to drop out of the race. The secretary of state’s office notes that that there are contested primaries for both Democratic and Republican candidates, and both parties are using the primary to allocate delegates for their respective nominating conventions.
Polls had shown Clinton with a double-digit lead going into the primary. Knott says Sanders won his vote because of his insistence on small campaign donations.
The real con artist is Senator Marco Rubio who was elected in Florida and who has the worst voting record in the United States Senate. “Trump’s support may be dropping, while Kasich’s star could be rising”.
This weekend’s Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, MD gave the 2016 GOP candidates a prime opportunity to rally their base to the polls.
“We got decimated”, Sanders said on ABC’s “This Week” of SC, where Clinton beat him 74% to 26% last month.
Kasich, the governor of OH who is looking for a strong finish in neighboring MI, reminded reporters that a candidate needs a majority of delegates to prevail – in this case, 1,237.
Marco Rubio is leading Donald Trump in Florida 48% to 23% among the almost 20% who have already cast their ballots. The race was much tighter in Saturday and Sunday interviews at 32% for Trump, 26% for Kasich, 25% for Cruz, and 12% for Rubio”, the polling outfit reports.

In another poll, Clinton is beating Sanders by an even wider range. On the Republican side, 59 delegates are up for grabs among businessman Trump, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sens.
