Did you see the red band trailer for Game of Thrones?
If that doesn’t make the wait for Season 6 even more excruciating, it’s not clear what it would take to get you even more amped up.

And that’s enough to hint at the fallen Lord Commander’s possible resurrection. I’m definitely not in the new series.
The trailer for Game of Thones’ highly-anticipated sixth season has dropped, and fans are unfortunately none the wiser. Might they turn him into a White Walker? The trailer ends as Davos draws Snow’s sword and whispers “I’ve never been much of a fighter, apologies for what you’re about to see ” . Set to “Wicked Game” performed by James Vincent McMorrow, it opens with a shot of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) who lies motionless after being stabbed by his Night’s Watch brothers.
The trailer was viewed 30 million times over a 24-hour period-8 million of those views were on YouTube, and another 22 million were on the official Game of Thrones Facebook page (now 23 million, incidentally). We can’t say we weren’t warned; Kit Harington recently revealed that he is “not in the show anymore”, highlighting that he plays dead in season 6 scenes.
There’s good news and bad news for Game of Thrones fans: Jon Snow will be returning, but only as a corpse. Game Of Thrones is also available on Astro On The Go.
We’ve seen a handful of teaser-trailers over the past several weeks.

HBO released the best look yet at the new season of Thrones on Tuesday, in a trailer that starts off with the bad news right up front: Jon Snow is indeed very, very dead. According to Watchers on the Wall, there is one scene where Melisandre and Davos are standing guard by Jon’s body. “Everything they’ve taken from us, we’re going to take back and more”, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) tells his twin-slash-lover, Cersei (Lena Heady), likely referring to the death of their daughter Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free), who was poisoned.
