Lawyer featured in ‘Making a Murderer’ is writing a book
Steven Avery’s lawyer claims mobile phone records from the day of Teresa Halbach’s disappearance prove her client is innocent of her murder. According to the phone records, Halbach was out of Avery’s property when her phone could not connect with the towers. She left property he didn’t.

Making a Murderer directors, Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos, say they are looking to create a second season of the show, and that they have spoken to Zellner about it.
The 53-year-old has long claimed Halbach left his home after taking photographs of him, and that he was nowhere near her when she was killed.
“The kinds of issues that came up in the Steven Avery trial that a lot of people think are unique to that case … are far from unique and happen all too often”, he said.
This is very interesting as much was made of Teresa Halbach’s cellphone records in the original trial, but they only covered incoming and outgoing calls, not location data. “I believe somebody needs to stand up for the cops, the courts, and the victim by telling the truth and setting forth the vast amount of evidence proving Avery’s guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt”, Kratz said in January of his book.
Zellner’s tweet is the latest in a series of brief messages she’s been sharing on her social media account since she took on the Avery case. These hints are all a part of Zellner’s plan to expose the “real killer” and exonerate Avery.

The book will be published next year by HarperCollins, and we’re willing to bet it’ll be flying off the shelves, since there are so many Making A Muderer fans out there! Although he was ultimately convicted of Halbach’s murder, Avery maintains his innocence. The prosecution has until March 11 to submit their arguments stating his case shouldn’t be overturned.
