Malaysia, Australia still ‘hopeful’ on MH370 anniversary
Mozambique authorities on Saturday said they will discuss the investigation of the plane debris found off the country’s coast with Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Mozambican civil aviation officials handed over suspected debris from the missing flight to Malaysian experts.
A metre-long piece of metal which washed up on a beach in Mozambique will be examined in Australia to see if it is from missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
Poignant music played as the next-of-kin released white balloons for each of the missing passengers ahead of the second anniversary of the plane’s disappearance on March 8, 2014.
The Australian-led search effort is to continue until June, having already spent more than $130 million looking through a vast area of the Indian Ocean almost 4 miles (6.5 kilometers) deep.
“Finding the aircraft would give answers to the world, in particular the families of missing loved ones, about what happened”, he said. Half an hour later, the plane disappears from radar.
Gibson has handed the part of plane wreckage to Mozambique authorities, said Commander Joao de Abreu Martins, chairman of the Institute of Civil Aviation of Mozambique.
When asked if the families were given consent by the MAS administrator under the MAS Act to initiate the lawsuit, the lawyer said they were denied consent.
The plane part Gibson had discovered is believed to be the horizontal stabilizer from an airplane of the same make as MH370.
Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 was being “deliberately flown” before it went down in the southern Indian Ocean, a Kiwi oceanographer involved in the search for the Air France Flight 447 wreckage in 2011, reportedly said Sunday.
The Malaysian government was not as co-operative as French investigators would have liked.
Mr Begue said that since the discovery of the flaperon, he had been combing the island’s shores for more debris. “We will be having the firm’s partners, Steven Marks and Roy Altman with me and lawyer Tommy Thomas”.
MH370’s disappearance remains one of the greatest aviation mysteries in history as there’s still only speculation about why the flight vanished. “We’ve covered almost three-quarters of the search area, and since we haven’t found the aircraft in those areas, that increases the likelihood that it’s in the areas we haven’t looked at yet”, Guardian quoted Dolan as saying.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau, which is running the search for the plane in remote waters off Australia’s west coast, said the part is expected to be transported to Australia for examination.
