Sanders touts MI win in debate with Clinton
Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders challenged each other’s records, particularly on immigration, in a sometimes contentious debate Wednesday night in the southeastern state of Florida.

Moderators at the debate, which was aired by the Spanish-language network Univision and CNN, pressed both candidates on whether they would deport children of undocumented immigrants. “I do not want to deport family members either, Jorge”, Clinton said. Clinton admitted to not being a natural politician, unlike her husband former President Bill Clinton, but highlighted her years of experience as both a senator and secretary of state.
Both candidates also had plenty of prepared material, much of which was already familiar. Mrs. Clinton deflected, saying her campaign is focused on the long run.
Currently, Clinton has 1,221 total delegates, counting the unpledged superdelegates that factor into the Democratic race.
Quiej’s eyes watered as the Univision reporter translated what the candidates were saying.
The braggadocious Trump’s caustic style has angered some voters – and fellow Republicans – but he insisted on Tuesday he could draw millions more to his movement. “It’s impossible for her to do because her record is so clear and the contrast between the two candidates is so stark”, Weaver said.
“I think the American people are never going to elect a president who insults Mexicans, who insults Muslims, who insults women, who insults African-Americans”, Sanders said.
She said her campaign was prepared for a marathon race, which plays in all states and is inclusive.
The FBI is investigating the possibility that Clinton mishandled sensitive information that passed through her private email server. When Spitzer dropped his proposal, she came out with a statement supporting his decision to ax the plan to give the driver’s licenses. “I did not send or receive any emails marked classified at that time”. “What you’re talking about retroactive classification”.
His surprise victory also probably has to do with the fact that younger voters, who tend to favor Sanders over Clinton, turned out in greater than expected numbers.
“She said, “Don’t do it, ‘ and NY state still does not do it”, Sanders said”. At this point, it was known that some of the money would go to the auto industry as well, although it was not known how much. This time, immigration and other issues of special concern to the Latino community are sure to loom large. And that’s only if you count the delegates that each has actually won in the primary contests.
Sanders was asked about a 1985 video in which he criticized the USA for its interventionist policies in Latin America, particularly regarding Cuba. And they also asked about the Puerto Rico economic crisis.
Sanders said he was referring to USA efforts to overthrow leftist governments in Latin America. “I think that was a mistake”.
“What we see in Puerto Rico now is a lot of suffering”, said Clinton.
She opened that line of attack on Sunday, and though she lost the MI primary two days later, she renewed it. Sanders opposed the Wall Street bailout bill, which also included funds to help the automobile manufacturers.
“That little island is $73 billion in debt”, he said.
Clinton’s strategy to win, meanwhile, relied too heavily on urban areas, including Detroit and Flint, as well as black voters, Michigan Democrats said. Polls had shown Clinton with a double-digit lead going into the primary.
Just as Clinton and her allies began moving to ease Sanders aside and prepare for the general election, the results in MI suddenly make next Tuesday’s contests here in OH, and in Missouri and IL, seem more competitive.

Trump now has 458 of the 1 237 delegates needed to win the nomination, with Cruz second with 359 delegates, according to the Associated Press.
