Verizon, Being Verizon, Pulls Samsung Pay From New Galaxy S7

Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile has announced a new buy one get one promotion for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Customers must pay the taxes on both phones at the time of the original sale.

After months of speculation and leaks, Samsung officially unveiled its Galaxy S7 during MWC.

With just days to go before they hit the market, Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are earning overwhelmingly positive – if not outright glowing – reviews.

T-Mobile said the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be available for $0 down on an installment plan while the S7 edge will cost $59.99 upfront.

T-Mobile rolled out a similar BOGO offer for the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge plus, Note5 and other premium smartphones in January, while AT&T followed suit in February.

Both devices feature a new dust-resistant design as well as a new waterproof design that ensures they keep running even after half an hour under water, according to Samsung. The good news is that shoppers will get a free year of Netflix with a free Gear VR with every pre-order of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, reports IBTimes. It’s not clear when the updates will begin rolling out to the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon models of the GS6 and GS6 edge, but now that Sprint is starting its pushes, the other carriers shouldn’t be too far off. For a limited time, and when you meet all of the requirements, you can purchase either of Samsung’s latest devices, then receive a prepaid MasterCard card holding the amount of a second device straight from T-Mobile.

Samsung certainly made a big deal out of the camera technology inside the Galaxy S7 during the Barcelona launch event, repeatedly comparing it to the iPhone 6S Plus, and showing side-by-side images where the new S7 easily bested the existing Apple phone.
