Guy Ritchie anxious for Madonna

A High Court judge is analysing legal issues relating to a dispute between Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie over the future of their 15-year-old son Rocco. Judge Alistair MacDonald said Thursday March 10, 2016 the fact that case is being analyzed can be reported but that no further details can be published.

“The mother remains on tour, I think in Australia”, David Williams QC, for Madonna, told the judge.

“There is no love stronger than a mother for her son”, she said tearfully before singing the song to guitar in Auckland.

Mr Justice MacDonald is due to hear more legal submissions from lawyers representing Madonna, Mr Ritchie and Rocco on Friday.

In a hearing at London’s High Court last week, judge Mr Justice MacDonald said: “It would be my fervent hope that discussions between the parties can reach an amicable resolution”.

The former couple were urged by a judge last week to reach an “amicable” decision in the best interests of the 15 year old, so they have been hashing out a deal that could see the teenager spend the school year with the singer in the United States and the holidays with the filmmaker in London.

Similar hearings have taken place in NY following the launch of family court litigation in the United States.

The pair married in 2000 but split after eight years.

The two have been engaged in an increasingly bitter custody dispute that has become especially complicated as they live on opposite sides of the Atlantic, and the singer is on a world tour for her “Rebel Heart” album.

“She also can’t get direct contact with Guy”.

Madonna is also asking to be notified of Rocco’s partying and asks that Ritchie allows him to have “native security” , so that an eye can be kept on their son’s safety.

Madonna was not at Thursday’s hearing – and was not at last week’s hearing. “If I talk about him too much I might cry”.
