In the race for the 1,237 delegates needed to win the Republican nomination, Mr. Cruz is less than 100 delegates behind Mr. Trump, who has 329 delegates to the Texas senator’s 231.
Donald Trump assured American voters Thursday night that despite what Marco Rubio had suggested, there was “no problem” with the size of his hands – or anything else. Trump said at the debate, holding up both his hands. Yes, he did it.

But perhaps the most shocking part of the evening was when Trump sought to push back against Rubio’s comment about his “small hands”. But when I did this one, nobody ever picks it up. Then he spread his palms out. Look at those hands. “Breathe, breathe, breathe. You can do it, breathe, I know it’s hard, I know it’s hard”.
He continued: “So I don’t take that”.
Trump responds to Rubio’s suggestion he wouldn’t answer a policy question: “Don’t worry about it little Marco, I will”.
“Mitt is a failed candidate”, Trump said at a campaign event in Portland, Maine hours after Romney’s speech.

He followed up with oft-repeated lines about Mr Trump’s support for Democrats. Trump has repeatedly railed against her, questioning her professionalism and fairness. “He’s making promises he has no intention of keeping”, Rubio said.
Kasich gave Trump a scare in Vermont Tuesday, falling just 1,400 votes shy of the Republican front-runner there.
