Apple’s App Store promotions typically last for a full week, from Thursday to Thursday, so the 100 apps sale should last until next Thursday when the App Store is updated again. As far as games go, you’ll find mad Birds, Badland, Limbo, Fruit Ninja, Rayman Jungle Run and, of course, Goat Simulator, among other titles.
Developers and studios taking part in the offer started tweeting about the price reductions on July 23, using the hashtag #AppStoreOffers, and the custom appstore.com/100.com URL. And 9to5Mac.com also reported the offer on July 24, calling it one of the largest iOS app sales yet this year.
Some of the better known apps on the list include Pixelmator, Facetune, Retromatic and GoodReader. These apps will comprise of different genres, so you not only have games to choose from, but also photo editing apps, productivity tools, and more. Some are e-readers; some are educational.

It’s unclear if this is a limited-time sale or a new permanent fixture in the App Store. DigitalTrends.com speculates that it’s not just a short term thing.
