On Thursday, Microsoft launched Build 14283 of Windows Mobile 10 for the Fast Ring, which contains an update to the Mail and Calendar apps: “I’m running late”, an option that appears next to the “Snooze” and “Dismiss” options that are already there.

“Redstone”, like “Threshold” a year ago is set to be released in two waves.
According to Vodafone only the Lumia 535, 635, 735, 830, 930 and Lumia 1520 qualify for the Windows 10 Mobile update, that is scheduled to begin rolling out from next week as an OTA. Microsoft might have rushed the release of new hardware to accommodate the new operating system, and that move bit them back a bit with power management issues due to the instability of the hardware and software combined.
With the update, Cortana is capable of interacting in more languages. After the virtual assistant released on Android and iOS platforms last week, the Windows maker looks ahead to introduce further changes which would further improve the feature.
If you’re still hobbling along on an outdated version of Windows phone, hope for an update could finally be in sight.
After missing its original target date by a long shot, Microsoft now plans to roll out Windows 10 Mobile this month for Lumia phones still rocking Windows 8.
