The last time the Warriors lost consecutively was April 7, 2015, just under a year ago, which doesn’t fare well for the Magic.

Jordan Clarkson scored 25 points and D’Angelo Russell tallied 21, as the Lakers (13-51) handed the Warriors only their sixth loss of the season against 55 triumphs. Having already smashed his single-season record for three-pointers, Curry became the first player in National Basketball Association history to make 300 in a season.
Former Washington State standout Klay Thompson added 27 points for the Warriors (56-6), who overcame a season-high 24 turnovers to bounce back from an ugly 112-95 road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday that snapped a seven-game winning streak. Even though the discussion of their historic season will never go away completely, as a team they must focus and realize that to end this season they must take it one game at a time.
“We played harder than we did (Sunday), which is a good step”, Kerr said after the win that broke the Bulls’ record for consecutive home-court victories.
It ” s not that record, but the Golden State Warriors did blow past the Chicago Bulls in the National Basketball Association record books Monday.
Aaron Gordon had 20 points and 16 rebounds as Nikola Vucevic sat out because of a strained groin, and Evan Fournier and Brandon Jennings each scored 20 as well. Stephen Curry scored 18 points to lead Warriors. “We’re not just satisfied with one game, but we’re able to come back the next game and play that well again”.
“I was thinking after the game: ‘Maybe we have turned that corner and our guys are showing some maturity and some growth, ‘” said coach Byron Scott, whose team is playing the third of an eight-game homestand.
Center Andrew Bogut was similarly effective on a low-scoring night, complementing four points with 10 rebounds and six assists for the Warriors, who were tipping off a six-game homestand.
Curry and Thompson, a night after combining to go 1 of 18 from 3-point range, teamed up for a 12-of-24 effort. Golden State is 15-1 in the second game of back-to-backs this season. With the Lakers showing that any team is capable of knocking off the defending champs, Orlando must use that momentum and underdog mentality to possibly pull off another upset at Oracle Arena tonight.

“We haven’t brought our A-plus game, but we’ve found different ways to win”, Curry said.
