Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the next instalment of what is the most popular phablet on the planet, has allegedly shown itself in leaked images.

It does seem like these handsets will be launched soon, and the photos certainly look legit, but take them with a pinch of salt until the official announcement.

The Galaxy Note line has always enabled the Korean company to show off its latest technology in nearly every part of the smartphone. The certifications for the Verizon and AT&T versions of the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge Plus.

As the summer comes to a close more and more Galaxy Note 5 rumors have started to surface, but at a much quicker pace than previous years. On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus appears nearly identical to the Galaxy S6 Edge, except for a slight difference in the way the corners are curved and its straight top. The current iteration of the Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note 4, sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. Another alternative is the Exynos 7430, but it sounds as though that processor isn’t ready for use in a mainstream device just yet. It is expected to feature an octa-core 64-bit processor, 5.67-inch Super AMOLED QHD display, 4GB of RAM, and a USB Type-C port. However, nothing is confirmed as of yet, other than the fact that Indian markets will no longer see the supply of the 128GB Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge variants for quite some time.

While the debate on the S6 Edge Plus phablet is ongoing, a more realistically rendered prototype image of the Samsung Note was released online albeit unofficially.

The two new Samsung devices i.e. Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 both run on latest version of Android i.e. Android 5.1.1 along with 2,600mAh and 3,000mAh battery respectively. It is said to come with only 16GB of internal storage, sport a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

However, multiple sources (including SamMobile) are now suggesting it will have the same Exynos 7420 SoC and 3GB of RAM as the S6 Edge, so a 4K display could still be on the cards if the device was going to be on par with its smaller predecessor.
