Canadiens: Subban out of hospital after neck injury
Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban was forced from Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Sabres after colliding with teammate Alexei Emelin.

Subban dropped to the ice and grabbed the back of his head.
According to Sportsnet’s David Amber, Subban was lying on the ice “for a few minutes after taking a hit to the head” from Emelin.
Montreal Canadiens watch as teammate P.K. Subban lies injured on the ice during the third period of the team’s NHL hockey game against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, March 10, 2016, in Montreal. Alex Galchenyuk continued his torrid pace scoring two more goals, giving him 10 in the last eight games.
Subban was transported to Montreal General Hospital as a precaution and the club said he was released late Thursday night after comprehensive testing. That was the scariest part for me. “Now I know how guys felt when that happened to me”.
“It was impossible to concentrate after that”. That streak will likely be broken Saturday when Montreal plays Minnesota.
Montreal coach Michel Therrien said he had “a good conversation” with Subban before he was loaded into the ambulance, and that he had no issue with the feeling in his hands and legs.
The 22-year-old added his second of the game at 19:16 of the second.
Subban, 26, is Montreal’s leading scorer with six goals and 50 points in 67 games. With Montreal on the power play, Galchenyuk was left all alone in front of goal for the easy one-timer.
Mike Condon is expected to start in goal against the Wild.
“We knew he was on fire and unfortunately we were unable to stop him”, said Bylsma.
Galchenyuk, with his 11th goal in his last eight games, leads the Canadiens with 25 goals this season, leapfrogging Pacioretty, who has 24.
