Warriors push home win streak to National Basketball Association record 45 straight

A mere 3-3 split in their remaining road games would allow them to break a much more famous record set by the Bulls in 1995 and 1996. The Warriors are 27-0 at home this season after winning their last 18 in 2014-15.

Russell has started the last eight and scored 19.9 points per game while connecting on 49.0 percent from beyond the arc, and in those eight games with the rookie at point guard, Los Angeles has limited itself to 10.9 turnovers per game after being at 14.1 through 56 contests. Having already smashed his single-season record for three-pointers, Curry became the first player in National Basketball Association history to make 300 in a season.

If that make didn’t signal that the Warriors would not lose, they essentially iced it after a Magic timeout when Andrew Bogut poked the ball away to set up a breakaway lay-up for Curry. Klay Thompson added 15 points, but the Splash Brothers were a combined 1 of 18 from 3-point range.

On Tuesday night, Kobe Bryant sat on the bench in a suit, as the Los Angeles Lakers showcased their youth movement for their retiring superstar en route to a 107-98 victory over the Orlando Magic. Sometimes the game comes too easy for our guys and they just think they can do anything.

Curry led the Warriors with 13 rebounds.

In their earlier battle this season, the Magic and Lakers went head-to-head in a close affair that ultimately ended in a 101-99 win for Orlando.

Bryant said he even went up to dunk at one point Sunday, but his shoulder stopped him.

Lance Stephenson added 17 points and JaMychal Green 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who forced the Cavs into a season-high 25 turnovers and never backed down against the Eastern Conference’s top team. Their focus so far this season has been nothing short of remarkable, and there was no better example of that than their back-to-back wins over a gutsy Thunder team last week.

Derrick Rose’s 22 points led the Chicago Bulls to a 100-90 win over the Milwaukee Bucks and Anthony Davis scored 31 points to guide the New Orleans Pelicans to a 115-112 victory over Sacramento Kings.

Aaron Gordon had 20 points and 16 rebounds in his Bay Area homecoming on a night Orlando played without leading scorer and center Nikola Vucevic because of a strained right groin.

“We are winning and Steph is bailing us out an very bad lot and he bailed us out tonight”, Kerr said.

Jordan scores at least 32 points for the fourth consecutive game.

The Magic are also coming into this game on the back of a loss, going down to the Phoenix Suns 84-102, but had a win over the Chicago Bulls before that.
