Love it or hate it, here comes Daylight Saving Time

As most Americans brace themselves for losing an hour of sleep, some corners of the country are proposing bold alternatives to daylight saving time. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 went into effect as of 2007, extending Daylight Saving Time in the U.S.by three-to-four weeks in the spring and one week in the fall. He claims evening commutes would be safer with more sunlight and wintertime lifestyles and mental health could improve.

HAWAII does not observe DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME and neither does ARIZONA (although the NAVAJO NATION, in northeastern ARIZONA, does).
