Apple yesterday started sending media invites for its long anticipated event on 21 March, it is expected to showcase the 4-inch iPhone SE, a 9.7-inch iPad Pro model, and a range of new Apple Watch models along with other accessories.

However, more are convinced that it is nothing but a play of words referring to the location of the event, which is in its headquarters at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, Calif.
Under the tagline, “Let us loop you in”, the invite to the event (see main picture), sent out to media earlier today, shows the company’s iconic logo, backed by coloured sections.
The supposedly new iPhone SE has yet to unveil why it bears “SE” on its rumored name. Apple has been trying to ignite sales of its tablets, which declined in the final quarter of previous year. It is worth mentioing though that, according to some reports, you shouldn’t expect an Apple Watch 2 just yet.
If we’re put on the spot – as we often are in Radio interviews across the country – here’s what we’d be betting on from Tim Cook and the Apple team at the March 21 event.
The iPhone 5S is the last four-inch iPhone on the market. In its March 10 filing, the government points to a 36-year-old case, “Mountain Bell” , in which a corporation was forced to “program” computers as part of government order to trace calls through a telephone facility.
A recent twist suggests the iPad Air 3 most people were expecting has now morphed into a smaller, 9.7ins version of the iPad Pro.
This new phone could well be announced alongside a new iPad Air 3, and it is thought that both could be on the shelves as soon as April.
Not content with the launch of the iPhone 7 in September, Apple looks set to introduce a new entry level device at the March event to replace the iPhone 5S. It will be available in Space Grey, Gold, Silver, and a possible variant in Rose Gold color.
Apple Watch bands: Apple is also expected to introduce new Apple Watch bands.
