Benitez sure of Ramos stay
Rafa Benitez says he is “100 per cent” sure Sergio Ramos will be at Real Madrid for the season.

All the talk has been around United wanting to swap goalkeeper David de Gea for the Spanish worldwide defender, with the former having just one-year left on his deal.
Ramos, a World Cup victor with Spain in 2010, is Los Blancos’ longest-serving player and has been handed the captaincy under new coach Benitez. “I would like to see him at the beginning of the season playing for us”.
As to what had led to Benitez changing his mind the manager said: “In the first place, and above all, because I always try to boost my players”.
“There’s no need to ask him to stay because I’m certain that’s what he wants to do”.
A few of you might not be familiar with football clubs, and for those of you who are American, I am talking about what we call soccer.
The Croatia global further added that Ramos looks happy at the club and he wants him to stay put at the Santiago Bernabeu.
It has been reported that Sergio Ramos is interested in a move to the Old Trafford, with his wife also revealing that the two have been taking English lessons for some time now.
Louis van Gaal confirmed Ramos is in his thoughts during his press conference earlier this week so perhaps he is confident of the move coming off if he is prepared to go public with his interest.
Much of the speculation surrounding Manchester United in recent days has centered on manager Louis van Gaal’s apparent suggestion that a “surprise” forward signing was in the works.
“I can say that he is competitive, he likes to win and for that reason he is the best in the world, I would like all my players to have that desire to win and compete”.
“I was really pleased with the signing, but he is not our player”. The belief is that the only way to achieve that goal is to grant Ramos his wish to leave.

“My relationship with him is as it is with the other players”, said Benitez.
