Jon Snow to return in Game of Thrones but only as corpse

Game of Thrones Season 6 premieres on HBO (Astro Channel 411/431) at 9am GMT+8 on Monday, 25 April. Game of Thrones fans have been on tenter hooks for nearly a year now, feverishly speculating about the fates of Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, and the rest of their favorite characters. It appears that Cersei is onboard with payback when she announces that she chooses violence later in the trailer in rebuke of the Sparrows.

The brand-new trailer for Game of Thrones’ highly-anticipated sixth season has officially been released and everyone is completely freaking out – ourselves included!

Game of Thrones trailer has garnered more than 30 million views in less than 24 hours, breaking yet another record.

Is Jon Snow dead or is he alive? “I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!’ Kit reportedly joked”. The almost two-minute teaser, appropriately scored to a cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game“, teases the various ways the rules of the Game will be changing this season.

For its previous five seasons, those who read the George R.R. Martin book series that “Thrones” is based on had the advantage of knowing what to expect next. Whether or not Jon Snow is resurrected this season, the prominent placement of his body in the trailer hints at some big scenes coming his way.

Finally, and craziest of all, Bran Stark turns around to find the Night’s King standing right behind him.

It’s nearly too quick for the eye to catch, but screenshots confirm that a man with curly black hair – who looks too much like Jon Snow to be coincidence – makes an appearance during a snowy battle scene.
