Whispers of the Old Gods will contain 134 new cards, including some cards that are corrupted versions of older cards.
The god cards will include a new mechanic allowing them to grow stronger as you play their followers, no matter where the god card is – whether it be in play, your hand, or deck. Blizzard is also letting players in the weeks leading up to the launch can pre-order a 50-pack bundle for $49.99.
Finally, to celebrate the launch when it happens, anyone who logs into Hearthstone during the promotion period will receive, for free, three Whispers card packs (15 cards total), plus the legendary C’thun card, so they can immediately begin building decks with the new cards.
