Trump Rattled in Dayton, Disrupted Continuously in Kansas City

A man arrested Saturday after he tried to get on the stage at a Donald Trump campaign rally in OH reportedly told police he planned to grab the microphone and yell that Trump is a racist but didn’t intend to hurt anyone.

In Kansas City, Missouri, he repeatedly ridiculed them – as people with a “little weak voice” and saying “go home to mommy”.

“I think they’re Bernie [Sanders] supporters”, Trump said of the protesters, pointing to at least one protester the Republican frontrunner said was holding a sign in support of the Democratic presidential candidate.

“But when they have organised, professionally staged wise guys we’ve got to fight back”.

Sanders expressed horror about a comment Trump made at a rally when the Republican front-runner promised supporters he’ll pay their legal fees if they beat up protesters disrupting his rallies.

Referring to the fact that some of the protestors at the Chicago rally were chanting “Bernie, Bernie” , Trump urged the Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders to calm down his supporters.

On Friday, the real estate magnate canceled a rally in Chicago, citing security concerns when a coalition of protestors packed the arena and clashed with his supporters.

While campaigning in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, Clinton criticised Trump directly for “ugly, divisive rhetoric” that encourages aggression and violence.

Many of his supporters are angry, Trump said, but only at the country’s failures that have damaged the economy. “I would say it again”.

A rally in Cincinnati, which had been reported as cancelled, is also set to go ahead on Sunday, according to Mr Trump.

In a statement issued later Saturday, Sanders added: “As is the case virtually every day, Donald Trump is showing the American people that he is a pathological liar”.

The mood was far more muted Sunday outside the Bloomington airport in central IL, where about 100 protesters gathered along an access road on an a foggy, overcast morning near the airplane hangar where Trump was scheduled to speak at 10 a.m. CST.

“When I saw the violence in Chicago, I just had enough”, Kasich said.

But Bill Schultz, 54, of Champaign, said he attended the rally in part to counter the increased visibility of anti-Trump demonstrators. “I don’t condone violence”, Trump told CBS’ “Face the Nation” and took a similar stand on other Sunday talk shows.

“So the issue now is Donald Trump has got to be loud and clear and tell his supporters that violence at rallies is not what America is about and to end it”, Sanders said. He says he took a swing back at that person but Secret Service pulled him down and he was later taken into custody by University of IL at Chicago police.

But Jones has no problem with protesters coming to Trump events.

And after dozens were escorted out of the venue, the police sprayed the crowd with pepper spray.
