Nancy Reagan’s funeral to be held Friday at presidential library

Former first lady Nancy Reagan died today at 94.

Gov. Phil Bryant and Mississippi Republican Party Chairman Joe Nosef both released statements on the passing. Theirs was one of our nation’s great love stories and a model of shared devotion to our country. The couple were married 52 years, and Nancy Reagan took care of her husband while he suffered from Alzheimer’s disease during the last decade of his life.

In addition to Ron, Nancy is survived by her stepson Michael and daughter Patti. I understand that sentiment in a very personal way.

“She was pulling together her staff and asked me if I would like to join her in the White House”, Robertson said.
