The Office’s Craig Robinson Joins Mr. Robot
Mr. Robot blew us away a year ago with its first season, mixing elements of cult classic movies like Fight Club and The Matrix into a new breakout show. Rapper Joey Bada$$ will play Leon, a new close friend of Elliot’s. It confirmed comedian Craig Robinson will also be part of the new series. Previously Grace Gummer (The Newsroom) was added to the cast an FBI agent investigating last season’s Evil Corp hack. In addition, Ben Rappaport and Tom Riis Farrell, who played Angela’s ex-boyfriend Ollie and sad man Bill Harper, respectively, will also be coming back for season two. As for Conroy, he’ll play a young suitor in Joanna’s life.

The best part of this casting news: Michael Cristofer and Stephanie Corneliussen are now series regulars. Unlike season 1 wherein only six episodes were completed before production, season 2 will have all 10 episodes will have already been completed before shooting begins.
The second season of “Mr. Robot” is going to more than likely premiere on US later this summer, and this show certainly will be facing some pretty high expectations when you consider some of what has happened in the months since the end of the show.
