Authorities announced on Monday that the suspect has been arrested and is being charged with murder and related offenses.

The stabbing reportedly happened around 3 a.m. Sunday, when the suspect approached a group of friends celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
Police say they know who they’re looking for in connection with a stabbing on North 18th Street that left a 52-year-old man badly injured.
Police say Steven Simminger and Colin McGovern were fighting over a New Jersey Devils cap when Simminger allegedly slashed McGovern in the chest and ran away.
Clark said McGovern and three companions had been out for a night on the town and were just getting out of a cab with the intention of finding a hotel.
Simminger, a veteran who lives in Blackwood, N.J., had been visiting friends in the area, Clark said. The man then took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the stomach.

McGovern was pronounced dead at 3:36 a.m.at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Simminger lives in New Jersey with his sister, Clark said, and was in the neighbourhood after visiting friends.

No attorney information was listed for Simminger in online court documents. A preliminary hearing for Simminger has been scheduled for March 30.
