All 13 episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 will premiere on Friday, April 15 exclusively on Netflix around the world. Fey appeared in the first season as a clueless Marcia Clark-inspired lawyer fighting on behalf of Kimmy against her former captor.
The trailer reveals that in season two, Kimmy gets a job at a year-round Christmas store, which makes all kinds of sense and will allow Kemper to lean into Kimmy’s manic earnestness.
From the looks of it, Kimmy is also going to try therapy (there should be layers and layers to unpeel there) and get a visit from Gretchen, the most conservative molewoman, who looks set to have a bit of Rumspringa in NY. “Lose the jerk, but keep the perks”. Her roommate Titus (Tituss Burgess) and landlady Lillian Kaushtupper (Carol Kane) are back, as is Mrs. Voorhees (Jane Krakowski), who’s trying to squeeze her divorce for all its worth.
