While the induction of these physical bookstores has been slow to start, there has been some speculation that as many as 400 stores may be planned to open across the nation.
It’s clear that Amazon is making a statement to both consumers and businesses alike regarding the presence it plans to make in the world of physical retail. “Stay tuned for additional details down the road”. The hardware includes Echo, Fire Tablets, and Kindles.
Which leads us to wonder, if you had the opportunity, would you be in favor of letting Amazon sell your items in a store, whatever you happen to sell?
The future store manager is tasked with “creating a vibrant store culture based on customer obsession, trust, respect, continuous learning and fun” with a goal “to provide best-in-class customer service to anyone visiting the store”, according to Amazon’s job description for the role.

That location, which opened its doors in November, spans 7,500 square feet, with approximately 5,500 square feet of retail space.
