“One in three African-American men will spend some time in jail or prison”, she said.
An NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll gives Clinton a narrow lead in IL – 51% to 45% – while a CBS News survey showed Sanders with a slight edge.
In a presidential campaign where candidates are clamoring to be the next 21 century leader, the Democratic contenders here are battling about a decades-old issue: trade. He also famously sparred with First Lady Hillary Clinton more than two decades ago in the White House, which landed him a demotion and almost got him thrown out of the West Wing.
However, a Chicago Police Department spokesman said the force had not recommended that Mr Trump postpone the rally.

“Where I end up is this, and maybe it’s a distinction that is hard to support, but at this point, given the choices we face from terrorist activities primarily in our country that end up under federal jurisdiction, for very limited purposes, I think it can still be held in reserve for those”. But Bernie Sanders leads narrowly in IL, 48 to 46, coming off his surprise win in MI last week. Ohio’s economy and demographics have much in common with MI, experts note, suggesting Sanders’ populist message could resonate among voters in this critical state.
