BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) – Harry Kane scored twice as Tottenham kept the pressure on Premier League leader Leicester with a 2-0 victory at bottom club Aston Villa on Sunday, provisionally moving Spurs to within two points of their title rivals.
England travel to France to contest the European Championship in June as they bid to win the tournament for the first time in their history.
Tottenham Hotspur and Mauricio Pochettino are now just two points behind Leicester, who have a game in hand over the North London team.
