OH has 143 delegates while Clintons home state of IL offers up a hefty 156 delegates and even if she loses she will still pick up a large number of delegates.

Earnest also blamed Republican Party leadership for standing by Trump, while at the same time saying it is against his campaign.

The Democratic Party establishment – which Clinton represents in this race – has been reeling from a crisis in authority in the state after Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel attempted to past year.

Missouri victories by Trump and Clinton could help solidify their status as front-runners. But just not quite as much as Democratic primary voters in general.

The delegates for each of the parties will convene at their national conventions, July 18-21 for the Republicans in Cleveland and July 25-28 for the Democrats in Philadelphia.

Both have home-state favorites in Rubio and Kasich – and both are fighting to save their campaigns by beating Trump.

Democratic voters for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders as “just reflexively against anything that has any worldwide implication”. Anyone in line at 7:30 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appears to be on the minds of many Missouri voters, whether they like him or not.

Clinton’s Jewish surrogates do not feel any sense of awkwardness when reaching out to Jewish voters and trying to convince them to vote against the only Jewish candidate to win states and delegates in a presidential race. She stopped and met with some union workers, targeting the same working-class folks that Sanders is targeting.

Trump’s closest competition has come from Texas Sen. The move suggests an endorsement and indicates that the Republican establishment has moved on from Rubio to Kasich, who has remained composed in recent Republican debates – relative to the other Republican candidates who have criticized each other during debates.

But some voters said they were drawn to strong leadership qualities they saw in Trump.

The flurry of activity was unusual for IL, a place that typically leans heavily Democratic in statewide races and is often largely ignored by presidential candidates, even in primary contests.

Overall, there are 358 pledged delegates at stake on the GOP side in these primaries. “Go vote. #VoteTogether”, Sanders tweeted. Turnout has been steady.

Trump is well aware of the GOP’s plan to give him the boot, telling Fox and Friends that a contested convention would be “pretty unfair” and that “a lot of people will be very upset” if he doesn’t get the nomination.

“I kind of felt like she, like many of us, are frustrated with the amount of gun violence that is happening, and how it is affecting our children”, Johnson said.

“We have a major candidate for president of the United States, Donald Trump, who is literally inciting violence among his supporters”. Elections also were being held in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina and OH, all of which carry more delegates than Missouri.
