Ben Carson’s Endorsement Of Donald Trump Just Got Even Stranger

Ben Carson said that even if Donald Trump turns out to be a bad president, he will only be in office for four years, reports Politico.

While Carson is now backing Trump, the real estate mogul couldn’t back away from earlier comments he made about Carson.

“I think that all the gates of civility have been blown apart. He is implying that this was in exchange for his endorsing Trump”.

As the coverage intensifies on these violent protests, what better image could the Trump team foster than having the mild-mannered black neurosurgeon speaking on his behalf?

Carson was in agreement with Trump – who has called his outsider run “one of the biggest political events anywhere in the world” – that the Republican party should embrace this momentum.

Two different Trumps? Apparently there are two different Ben Carsons as well.

Later in the interview, Carson implied Trump had promised him a role in his administration.

“Well, again, I think we have a tendency to focus on the wrong thing there”.

“Don’t worry, we have a very classy Trump steak on his eye. I didn’t see a path for (John) Kasich, who I like, or for (Marco) Rubio, who I like”, Carson said. “The people are the ones who are supposed to make the decision”. Threatening lawsuits seem to come as naturally as breathing to Donald Trump, it’s the primary way he bullies people and attempts to silence them.

Meanwhile, on the TODAY show, Matt Lauer played Carson a couple clips of Trump doing Trump, urging his followers to “knock the crap” out of protesters.

That’s true of Trump.

What “outlandish” views of Trump’s was Carson anxious about?

When Dr. Carson first announced his endorsement last week, he lauded Trump’s more contemplative, considered side.

Tapper asked: “Would I be overstating matters if I said you sound like you’re actually concerned that somebody – before this is all over – somebody might lose their life?” “That really would not be consistent with the First Amendment rights guaranteed by our Constitution”.

Bennett then cut back to the fake Trump rally after an “incident of violence” where Dr. Carson was mistaken for a protestor and had suffered an apparent injury. If the Democrats win the White House, Carson told Malzberg that he foresees the end of the American Dream. “I don’t see that happening in our country”.

Not to mention deporting illegal aliens. And, you know, that happens in American politics. “You don’t cure these people. It’s just a double whammy”. Does Dr. Carson believe Planned Parenthood has done some good things as well?
