India kills three terrorists on Pak information
Security agencies have eliminated three of the ten Pakistani terrorists who had entered Gujarat recently to carry out attacks. It has been confirmed that three terrorists were killed in a western state of India last week. The remaining seven terrorists have also been zeroed in their hideouts and operation is on to neutralise them, the sources said. While three terrorists have been neutralised, a massive search operation is on to hunt down the rest, as per CNN IBN.

The group, suspected to mainly comprise Pakistani terrorists belonging to the LeT and JeM, had planned to attack the Somnath temple in Gujarat during Shivratri on March 7, besides other targets.
The government had rushed National Security Guard commandos to Gujarat on March 6 after intelligence reports said militants had sneaked into the state from Pakistan.
The official refused to give any other details, like the identity of the alleged terror operatives or the location where such an operation took place.
Mr. Naseer Khan Janjua, the National Security Advisor from Pakistan also shared the intelligence inputs about the infiltration with his counterpart, Ajit Doval from India. “The terrorists could belong to a third country as well”, added the official. The alert was sounded after a Border Security Force patrolling team recovered an abandoned boat – allegedly from Pakistan – off Koteshwar coast in Kutch. Following the tip-off, intelligence agencies were asked to track down the infiltrators.
The Centre also sent a particular security alert to Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chandigarh.
In January, Pakistani terrorists had killed seven Indian military personnel during an attack on an air base in Pathankot.

Gujarat was put on high alert after the warning, with increased security at the Somnath Temple on the occasion of Mahshivratri, one of the most important dates of the Hindu calendar. The dread caution brings back recollections of the 2008 assaults in Mumbai, where 10 fanatics achieved India’s budgetary capital on a watercraft from Pakistan and propelled strikes that murdered 166 individuals.
