Adele noticed and celebrated a marriage proposal at her concert

While performing her rendition of Bob Dylan’s Make You Feel My Love at the first of six concerts in her hometown London, Adele spotted a couple in the crowd getting engaged and halted mid-song to ask them: “Did you just get engaged?”

Returning to the small stage in the centre and surrounded by a gauze cylinder, the audience croons along to “Chasing Pavements” – a song that Adele claims no-one used to sing along to as it was too new when that first album came out.

“Twelve and a half years”, the woman said, not that she was counting.

She admitted: “I thought there was a fight at first!” Once, Adele discovered about this she couldn’t help but celebrate. She finally saw “sweet kissing”, which confirmed that she was right about her hunch. “She really connects with the audience”. Adele then gave the newly engaged couple a huge hug.

The 27-year-old singer told the crowd the engagement was “the most attractive thing I’ve witnessed at one of my shows”, according to a Sun reporter in attendance.

During the gig, the lady revealed she had asked her boyfriend to marry her earlier in the day, but he didn’t appear to be a fan, replying, “Maybe in a little while”.

There aren’t many pop artists that sound better live than they do pre-recorded and fine-tuned, but Adele is one of those rare beasts.

A video showed the entire incident, featuring how Adele must be very fond of proposals and weddings.
