The real estate developer admitted it was a “really hard” time following her breakup with Ben but now says she holds no hard feelings and was “lucky” to have that experience.

“The Bachelor” Ben Higgins really fell in love with both of the final contestants, but gave his last rose – and a giant engagement ring – to Lauren Bushnell during Monday’s finale.
The episode began with Ben visiting both Lauren and Jojo with his parents. “But he laid everything out for me”, the flight attendant said on GMA. Then Ben proposed and Lauren obviously said yes and blah, blah, blah – did they get married during the After the Final Rose special?!
Now, Fletcher says she hopes to find “someone who makes me laugh, someone who is kind and genuine and adventurous”.
“Apparently I’m a loud breather”, Higgins says. “I’m so excited”, she added.
It has been four months since that proposal in Jamaica that we saw last night on The Bachelor 2016 finale, so now they have had some time together while in hiding and the couple talked about that, as Ben joked, “Apparently I’m a loud breather”.
Ben Higgins’ mother said that she was really disturbed by the fact that her son was simultaneously in love with two different women.
JoJo recalled all their moments together on the show and sobbed, “I love you with all my heart”. I want to go to bed at night and know that in the morning I’m going to wake up with the most handsome woman I have ever laid eyes on. Naturally, JoJo was blindsided by this, particularly since Ben promised he’d never blindside her. Ben seemed distressed at what he had to do, saying that in any other life, he couldn’t imagine saying goodbye to her. Yet here we are. But, BUT! JoJo is the best and she has that fantastic mom and those drama-included brothers as part of her package. But as soon as she disappeared, he immediately got down to business and called up Lauren’s dad to ask for his approval.
Ben and Lauren went through a very emotional Bachelor finale.
Nevertheless, we’ve seen Ben and Lauren’s love story play out throughout the season.
