Eagles have the NFL’s most hated fan base, says Sports Illustrated
They’ve constantly been scrutinized for how hostile and passionate they are which sometimes leads to crossing the boundaries.

SI believes that the hatred began in December of 1968, when Eagles fans pelted a man dressed as Santa Clause with snowballs due to the fact that the team lost out on drafting O.J. Simpson, who went to Buffalo as the first pick in the 1969 draft.
The list cited several infamous incidents, such as the booing of Santa Claus and the installation of a jail cell beneath the old Veterans Stadium.
Accoridng to Sports Illustatred its the Philadepaha Eagles. If your scracthing your head like I was then hey highfive but its true Eagles fan have had thier moments but tell me which fans havent just wanted to run wild and act mad once and awhile?
That solidified the hatred between the Eagles and the Cowboys forever, rowdy Eagle’s fans cheering for a motionless Michael Irving while booing an obviously upset Deion Sanders.
Do you see the pattern?
What say you? Do Eagles fans get a bad rap, or do they deserve the hate?
Although this ranking will be offensive to some, many others will wear it as a badge of honor.

In Philadelphia where every winter was routinely met with rock filled snow balls and sprawling crime that only wavered along the 28 blocks that make up center city it does not surprise me at all that the Eagles organization needed a judge to deal with rowdy Eagle fans. Spygate, DeflateGate and other rule-bending tactics haven’t played well in NFL fans’ eyes, evidently. Maybe, maybe not. But all that matters is that they stick with their team through the good times and the bad, while also riling up the enemy as well.
