Nissan previews new model for NY
Nissan has a history of making constant tweaks to its legendary GT-R, and we’ll see the latest update at the upcoming NY auto show next week.

For once, we have no trouble working out that the tease is for the GT-R, but is this a facelift for the current auto, an all-new GT-R, or could it be a limited edition model. The upper intake looks like it’s getting even slimmer and the lower grille is larger and deeper. Maybe! Probably! Next week we’re likely going to get a glimpse of what may be the current-generation GT-R’s final stand before it turns into a hybrid-powered spaceship.
The Nissan GT-R was way ahead of its time when it launched at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
Well, the popular guess on the Internet is that the company will be pulling the covers off its all-new GT-R, with this teaser showing its dual taillights in all their glory.

We might also see the GT-R’s interior given something more than just a mild makeover, as Nissan has declared they want to take the next GT-R more upmarket, not just in terms of performance and dynamics but also in terms of quality and materials. That’s why the teaser image released by Nissan seems so familiar. Adding to that likelihood is the Philippine market has reportedly already confirmed the release of the GT-R during a festival this past November, spelling out that it could make its way to the USA for an official release later this year as well.
