Clinton defeats Sanders in Florida, Ohio and 2 other states
Clinton was locked with Sanders in a tight contest in Missouri, the fifth primary of the day, but her string of four triumphs strengthened her already formidable pledged delegate lead, and the former secretary of state said she expected to have a more than 300-delegate edge.

If you missed Bernie Sanders’ rally in Phoenix Tuesday night, just know one thing: the crowd could not stop applauding and cheering for their candidate. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., speaks at a campaign rally at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Then-Sen. HIllary Clinton was also a superdelegate that year and also backed Obama at the convention as part of her call for party unity.
Sanders would need a “series of very big victories in big states” to catch up at this point, the Los Angeles Times reports, but because of how delegates are allocated, Clinton is still unlikely to clinch the nomination before California votes in June.
“We are fired up and ready to win in November”, she said. He said Sanders must start going after Clinton the same way Donald Trump – or whoever else wins the Republican nomination – would be attacking her in the fall. “You don’t have to accept the status quo, we can do better”. Sanders has 800 total delegates, including superdelegates.
Basham also suggested Sanders might be holding back with his attacks on Clinton, in hopes of running as her vice-presidential nominee in the future.
As more states had their say, though, Obama’s momentum won nearly twice more superdelegates, despite losing the popular vote. “Don’t tell me that we can not have a political system in which we have one of the highest voter turnout rates in the world, rather than one of the lowest”, said. Sanders. “We can make real change but we don’t make change if they divide us up…so if we stand together there is nothing that we cannot accomplish”.
Clinton urged Democrats in recent days to unite behind her candidacy so she could focus on Trump, the Republican front-runner. It helped him pull off an upset in MI last week, prompting him to continue to question Clinton’s past support for trade deals such as the North American Free Trade Agreement.
The caucus process is more involved and time consuming than a traditional primary.

Overall at my school I would say there is overwhelming support for Bernie Sanders.
