Detective Jim Gordon and then GCPD will continue their battle for justice for at least one season! It ranks among this season’s Top 10 entertainment programs overall among Men 18-49, according to Nielsen. A new arc beginning with the March 21episode introduces Paul Reubens as Penguin’s biological father and the rest of his family. Madden goes on to say that over the course of the last two seasons, “Bruno, Danny and John” have been “masterfully” honoring the mythology that is such a part of the show. The series has continued to bring quality episodes with its stunning cast that includes Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, among others.

A very early renewal, but not that unusual as Gotham got an early renewal a year ago.

Gotham now airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
