Man tries to breach security line at Trump rally
Donald Trump cancelled a rally in Chicago because of security concerns, triggering scuffles between supporters and protesters.

“What I am disturbed about is we have a major candidate for president of the United States, Donald Trump, who is literally inciting violence among his supporters”, Sanders said.
Republican presidential candidate Ohio Gov. John Kasich speaks during a town hall meeting at the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center, Sunday, March 13, 2016, in Strongsville, Ohio.
Meanwhile, he refuses to disavow the incendiary comments about protesters (“I’d like to punch him in the face”, “They’d be carried out on a stretcher”, etc.) that have clearly led some true believers to take matters into their own hands – and fists. That flare-up occurred at a rally in North Carolina at which Trump spoke of the treatment of a protester at an earlier event: “He was a rough guy, and he was punching”.
One of Trump’s supporters may take him up on that offer.
In announcing the cancellation, the Trump campaign said he met with law enforcement officials after arriving in Chicago.
Before a campaign event in OH on Sunday, he told the press that Rubio and Kasich have no paths to the nomination and again defined himself as the only alternative to Trump. “It is a choice that every candidate makes”, Cruz said Saturday.
A Quinnipiac University poll shows that Mr Trump is leading the way in Florida and tied with Ohio Governor John Kasich in Ohio ahead of crucial state primaries on Tuesday. “And only 19 percent of Republican voters would be enthusiastic about a Rubio nomination (in contrast, half would be enthusiastic if Trump were the nominee)”, writes YouGov’s Kathy Frankovic.
“When it came down whether you stand with corporate America, the people who wrote these agreements, or whether you stand with the working people of this country, I proudly stood with the workers”, Sanders said in Youngstown, Ohio. “But despite that, I don’t condone it and we don’t want that to happen”, he said.
Senator Bernard “Bernie” Sanders said that, Trump “is a man who keeps implying violence, and then you end up getting what you see”, according to the Washington Post.
The campaign next shifts to the West, where Sanders’ advisers have suggested he could rattle off a win streak and enter April with the chance to put a dent in Clinton’s delegate lead.
Trump said his rallies are “peaceful”, and accused news reports of exaggerating the violence.
Governor of Ohio, Kasich, and Florida senator Rubio are the two candidates offering the Republican establishment any form of hope of beating Trump. “It’s a function of the press, the press likes to say what the press likes to say”, Trump told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Monday.

But if they could both pull off big wins on Tuesday, they could stop Trump, setting the stage for a contested convention this summer.
