Swiss photographer Tiziana Vergari had originally posted the photo online as part of an Instagram weekend hashtag project.

october11th If you look at the picture as a whole you would think that there’s more than 2, but look closer at the minute details & you’ll realize it’s a reflection of only 2 girls.
The photo soon became very “liked” – over 12,900 and counting – as more and more people tried to identify the exact number of girls they thought were photographed.
At the time of writing, the picture has almost 800 comments, from people trying to decide how many girls there are in it.
Another said: There’s clearly four. It asked how many girls? If you see their face, the mirror shows the back of their head. If you have a mirror in front and behind you, you’re going to see the back of your head in the reflection of the front mirror.
