Another 110 games for the PlayStation VR are in various stages of development. Lots of VR games were announced including the bird simulator Eagle Flight from Ubisoft and a remake of the rhythm based on-rails shoot, Rez.

The Rift from Facebook-owned Oculus will be available March 28 for $599. It’s smart that Sony isn’t adding it in the package, as many PS4 owners may already own one, and if they don’t, it can be bought for around $60.
You will also be able to sync your PlayStation VR with the PlayStation 4 platform to enjoy rich and awesome gaming experiences.
As far as the specifications go, the final commercial version of the PlayStation VR comes with a 5.7-inch full HD OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 100 degree field of view. “We believe that virtual reality is the next step on that journey and will usher in an entirely new era of gaming”.
Between Oculus’s arrival later this month and the HTC VIVE developer units that have shown up at studios’ doorsteps, if Sony wanted to keep potential customers interested, today was the day to do it.
A PlayStation Camera now costs £39 on Amazon, while Move controllers set consumers back £24. Clearly, though, there is no industry if there’s no hardware, and the imminent release of the three high-end systems means we’re very much at the cusp of the true mainstream coming out of the consumer VR era.
Australians can preorder the PlayStation VR now from EB Games, Target, JB Hi-Fi and Big W. Early adopters will receive a free copy of “The Playroom VR”, a bundle of six games.
While PlayStation VR doesn’t need a PC to operate, it does require the PS4 game console, which now retails for about $350.

Sony maintains there will be at least 50 titles available by the end of this calendar year that will leverage PlayStation VR features to some degree.
