Brian Earl Taylor, 21, delivered an unexpected rendition of Adele’s “Hello” to apologize for his actions before Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Darlene O’Brien and a courtroom of onlookers, according to MLive.

“Hello, your honor”, Taylor sang.

“And your honor I’m sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry”, he finished.

This man gave a judge a heartfelt apology with an Adele-inspired song.

“Hello there, your honor”, he sang at his March 10th sentencing.

“I’ll try to be stronger in this life I chose”, he promises in his Adele cover. Yet Taylor crooned to say sorry to a 23-year-old Ypsilanti man police said he was robbing at gunpoint when they caught him November 9 in the second-floor stairway of an apartment building.

A MI man broke out in song during his court sentencing for unlawful imprisonment and carrying a concealed weapon last week.

According to a Ann Arbor News report, Taylor had asked the judge for a sentence of only 36 months because he wanted to obtain his degree from Eastern Michigan University by the age of 26. Five other charges were dropped.

“To my mother, I’m sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry”, he sang.

However, his song did little to move the judge who said that he was “obviously a talented young man” but added that the minimum guideline range for his crimes was 50 to 100 months.

He is due back in court on March 24 in a separate case where he will stand accused of stealing a financial transaction device.
