La’Porsha Renae American Idol 2016 Top 5 Performances
It’s safe to say, at this point, that La’Porsha Renae will be the victor of “American Idol’s” farewell season, right?

The girl has been bringing it all season long, and doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. “I don’t think that song and you, personality-wise, came together, “Keith Urban said”.
Each time La’Porsha walks out on stage, she commands attention with her captivating presence and jaw-dropping vocals. Before his emotional performance of “The Sound of Silence” by Simon & Garfunkel, he revealed that he has bipolar disorder. The single mom, who has become a favorite among fans and the judges, performed India Arie’s ballad “Ready For Love” for her first song.
Next up to make it to the 2016 Top 5 finalists was La’Porsha Renae.
Below, check out La’Porsha’s audition video, a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep”. I am not sure, but I have a feeling it is Tristan going home this week! That leaves us with Sonika Vaid and Tristan McIntosh. Probably not. We’ve never been an enormous fan of Tristan’s over the course of the season, but Sonika has shown a lot of promise at times, and has especially performed better than Dalton Rapattoni as of late.
Judge Harry Connick, Jr. was also impressed, suggesting that Harmon should share the stage with the night’s guest of honor, Idol alum Adam Lambert. Even when you put aside that disastrous duet with MacKenzie, Dalton’s solo performance, “Eleanor Rigby”, still wasn’t all that good.
Sonika was in the bottom three last week, so that could hurt her chances this week. Next, Dalton was back for the second round. Keith said it was a good song for Sonika and advised her to keep letting go, but J. Lo begged to differ, saying, “I didn’t love this song for you”.
After getting the judges save, Sonika struggled to get through round two. Lopez simply said she didn’t like the song for her.
After her performance, the judges were on their feet – and rightfully so. MacKenzie Bourg sang “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson.

After the touching package, La’Porsha effortlessly – seriously, this was a cake walk for her – performed “No More Drama” by Mary J. Blige. There is no Judges’ Save this week and it is all based on the votes by America, so she could be in trouble.
