Lebowski Fest founder smoked weed at bowling alley
The Big Lebowski The sheet said that Russell had apologised to officers for “acting like a savage”. As the 14th yearly gathering of Dudes and Jesuses and Walters screaming about the rules commenced, the founder of the fest was arrested in the most Lebowski way ever.

Police arrested William Russell at the Strike and Spare Executive bowling alley on charges of marijuana possession, menacing and resisting arrest. Court officials said Russell was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, July 15.
As officers were wrapping up their investigation, police say Russell took a “bladed stance”, and advanced towards officers in an aggressive manner. I looked all around and all there was was… “Looking for a hand to hold”.
Police say Russell was found smoking marijuana in the parking lot of the center along with a co-defendant.
Though youre too late to join the fun for the Louisville Lebowski Fest, if you happen to be in the Wisconsin area near the end of next month, Lebowski Fest Milwaukee goes down on August 21 and 22. The fans, known as Achievers, kicked off the celebration with live music from Jimmie Dale Gilmore, who played Smokey in the film, Wave3 News reports.
