Ben’s last date with JoJo turned out to be more emotional than expected as she broke down from all the pressure of the competition.

During Monday’s “Bachelor” season 20 finale, the 26-year-old software salesman from IN announced that he’d found his mate IN flight attendant Lauren Bushnell.
Ben proved his heart belongs to Lauren by proposing again last night in front of her family.
Bushnell admitted that while she loves her fiance, there are some things he does that have annoyed her, though she isn’t going to let her pet peeves ruin her happiness with Higgins.
“I can’t apologize for being honest or expressing what I thought was best to express at the time”, Ben told People. Ben responded, “We’re open to it, I think it’d be fun”. I’ve never faltered on that.
“Now that I’m out of that world and we’re together and looking at life from here on out, it’s a lot easier”, Higgins says.

Bushnell: I think both of us have dreams and hobbies that we like that if it could become something that we do for a living as well, that would be fantastic.

JoJo made an appearance, and said that after watching the season, she realized Ben had a stronger connection with Lauren and graciously told the couple, “I’m really happy for you guys”. He told Entertainment Tonight, “I have a job, I’ve moved to a little bigger city, I’ve been able to set some roots there by getting a house – my life has kind of started”.

During the interview, Lauren showed off her Neil Lane sparkler, a 4.5-carat bauble said to be is worth $100,000. Higgins told her that they had found love, but “I found it with someone else more”.
