Manning retires as the winningest quarterback of all time.

The Colts, of course, drafted Andrew Luck with the top pick in the 2012 draft, and Manning signed with the Denver Broncos that year.

It is worth noting that this is not an official retirement ceremony for Manning as a Colts. But he got a chance to say goodbye to the Indianapolis Colts and their fans Friday. He led the Colts to eight divisional titles and two Super Bowls.

Manning spent 14 seasons in Indianapolis from 1998-2011.

More than a week after announcing his retirement from the NFL, Peyton Manning will return to where it all started.

“Few have left their marks on a sport as Peyton Manning has”.

Irsay recalled where the Colts were (as one of the worst teams in the NFL) before Manning arrived, and all that Manning accomplished. Manning also won a Super Bowl ring with the Colts after the 2006 season.
