It works with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and puts you inside a room with a massive simulated 20-foot virtual monitor running your regular Windows desktop.

All of the above shops will contain a Vive VR demonstration station, which will be open to the public for individual demonstration sessions.

For starters, this allows you to access any and all apps, files or data on your PC without having to take off your Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. There’s no word on what games will be available, although the HTC Vive launch line-up seems the most plausible. As a limited time offer, it also ships with three VR experiences:Tilt Brush (Google), Fantastic Contraption (Northway Games in collaboration with Radial Games) and Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives (Owlchemy Labs). “What truly brings ViveTM to life is trying it first hand, and we can’t wait to bring this opportunity to as many consumers as possible”, said Peter Frolund, HTC’s VP for VR (Europe). You’ll then be able to pre-order the Vive from each location.
