President Obama’s seventh and final appearance on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” wasn’t all fun and games: POTUS talked politics and even issued an executive order forbidding Stewart from leaving the show!

Before Tuesday’s final appearance, Obama appeared with Stewart six times since 2005, two of which came when Obama was in the White House.
Among his many questions, Steward bluntly asked the President “whose side are we on?”, referring to the global War on Terror, specifically ISIS. He said a few news outlets “get on my nerves more than others”.
You can’t really blame him, considering the Bears sit at 60-to-1 odds to take it all, reported by Bovada.
Daily Show’s Jon Stewart Delivers Joke-Free Open in Wake of Charleston Church Shooting: “I Have Nothing”. Neither can we. “In fact”, he continued, “I’m issuing a new executive order: Jon Stewart cannot leave the show”.
Other topics discussed in the 22-minute interview were the Iran deal, which Obama portrayed as the best achievable compromise, and progress made in the fields of healthcare and climate change.
“I am sure the Republicans are enjoying this”, Obama responded.
And last night, the President helped send Jon Stewart off in style, sitting down for a lengthy interview, during which he looked back at his accomplishments over the past seven years, and also shared his very candid opinions on the role of government. Obama added that he knows not all goals will be reached before he leaves office, but that the country would still be better off than it was before.
Obama got a good laugh out of that, while also, we all noticed, taking care not to dis The Donald.
“Overall I think that the problem with our interaction with media is probably overstated”, he argued, instead blaming the problems on the “balkanization” and “splintering” of the media environment.
Obama went again repeatedly to the difficulty of Iran, utilizing Stewart’s huge viewers to make his pitch.
“The media are a bunch of different medias”, Obama said. Parts of the interview that didn’t make the 30-minute broadcast were being posted later Tuesday night on the “Daily Show” website.

“I can’t believe that you’re leaving before me”, Obama told Stewart, who has hosted the Daily Show since 1999.
