According to the company, more than 230 developers are working on titles for its new platform, and the titles that will be offered at launch include PlayStation VR Worlds as well as Tumble VR and an experience based on Star Wars Battlefront, with more set to be announced soon. Interestingly enough, the core PlayStation VR package is not available for pre-order.

Few days back Sony announced Virtual Reality Headset for PlayStation 4 users which is compatible only for PS4 owners, they can run any game using VR gear. The core PlayStation VR bundle won’t be available for pre-order, so that $399 United States dollars or $549 CAD you’ve been saving up will have to wait.

The PlayStation 4 camera now retails for around $45 on Amazon while the Move controllers go for just shy of $30 each.

Sony said pre-orders for the PlayStation VR Launch Bundle will open on March 22 at 7:00 am PDT priced at $499.99 ($699.99 in Canada). But even as a bundle, the headset is still significantly cheaper than the competition: The HTC Vive VR headset costs $799 with controllers, and the Oculus Rift costs $599 without controllers.

The $500 PlayStation launch bundle will include the following things: the PlayStation VR headset; PlayStation VR cables; PlayStation VR Demo Disc; PlayStation VR Worlds (disc); PlayStation Camera; Stereo Headphones; and 2 PlayStation Move Controllers.

For fans without Move controllers or the camera, this bundle represents a pretty good option to get everything you need plus an extra game thrown in to boot.
