The campaign is fighting for every delegate it can win and spent roughly $400,000 on the Portland stations to get his message out.
Sanders’ campaign said in a news release Thursday the rallies will be held in Vancouver, Seattle and Spokane.
Supporters lined up Sunday acknowledged the hard math working against their candidate but insisted they are undaunted.
“Oh I think it’s great”.
“Anyone who has read five minutes of American history understands how shamefully and dishonorably we have treated the first Americans”, he said.
The Seattle rally will take place at 5 p.m.at KeyArena with doors opening at 2 p.m.
KGW will live stream the rally starting at 12 p.m. on KGW.com.
“It sounds to me like the people of Vancouver and the state of Washington are ready for a political revolution”, Sanders said as the crowd cheered and waived signs. Then, the following day, President Bill Clinton is heading through Spokane to campaign for wife Hillary.
In Vancouver, excitement is growing.
Bernie Sanders plans to campaign in the Seattle area this weekend, and in other parts of Washington state on Sunday.
